Another rock slider question... But with dogs!

Hello all! Our new 4Runner arrives next week and we could not be more excited. Our two pups are also excited for their new ride and can't wait to drive around with us. Naturally, one of the first additions to the vehicle will be rock sliders but I have a very specific need. One of our dogs is a front leg amputee and the little tripawd cam have a tough time getting into and out of my current Tacoma.

I looked at BudBuilt step sliders with a diamond top plate but they don't seem to make them with the kickouts. I also looked at RCI off-road but they only seem to make angled sliders which I'm worried won't do well as a step for our 3 legged pal. Does anyone have any advice on where I might look for better ideas?

Basically we want something with a top plate that can function very well as a step for both dogs and can protect the vehicle while off the beaten path. Thanks in advance! Attached pic to brighten everyone's day: Ollie is our 1 year old boy on the left and Bowie is our 4 year old gal on the right!

Check out Cali raised step sliders. They are not angled and have a kick out option.

RSG and Cali-raised seem to make flat ones with kick outs and top plates. Check bud built too. Keep in mind some lead times maybe crazy right now.

I purchased some sliders from Explore Overland during the black friday sales. Ordered in flat, with kick outs and with top plates. I believe they are still on sale, though not as heavily discounted. Might be worth looking into.

My recommendation would be a flat plate kickout. We are very happy with the ones made by RSG. Due to a shipping mixup (which RSG offered to make right), we got the ones with the grip top plate - pressed perforations with ridges facing up. I was initially worried that the grip ridges would be a problem for our dog, but this isn't the case at all. The rear portion of the kickout doesn't have the cutouts, and that is the portion used by our dog for getting in and out of the back seat.

OP, the RCI you want is the 5 degrees option. Those are flat.

i have rci flat with kickout and my neighbor has rsg flat with kickout - the rsg is better in that it kicks out more and the overall quality appears to be better.

I have the Greenlane Offroad plated flats with kickout. Good for the little pooch, child and for me when I access the ski-box.

RSG Flat with Kickout. If you're tempted to get angled (5 degrees) thinking it won't be that much of an angle, stick with the flat. I went angled and it throws off my dogs entry occasionally. With the Flat and Kickout there is good surface area in the back.

Thank you for everyones help! I have narrowed it down to RSG and BudBuilt. The tough part now is that BudBuilt seems like they can do flat with kickouts and a diamond top plate. Tough decisions ahead but I appreciate everyones help. Awesome community here compared to TacomaWorld where I came from haha.
