accessorides remote start problems
Has anyone had issues with accessorides remote start? Was doing the install today, and everything plugged in perfectly. when it came time to program, turning the key to "ON" position just makes one light turn on and stay solid red. can't get past that. Never ever saw a green light. Anyone else have a similar issue?
EDIT: Figured it out. So If you did the door chime bypass mod, unplugging the black/white wire plug from the ignition, accessorides does not work properly. I plugged mine back in and it worked perfectly.

So yours refused to program and it still works ok?
the red light will not turn off for me and I cannot do the brake programming because of it.

I just remember getting the red light during the setup. I have no issues with it and the truck turns off by pressing the brake pedal when there is no key in the ignition.

No issues either, one of the best upgrades i picked up. Dealer wanted almost $800 to do a factory remote start.

Just a side note as well, you need to program with a normal key and NOT the valet key. So even if you upgrade your key fob but used the valet key chip/sensor, it will not program properly. Took going back and forth with Accessorides on email for a couple weeks to figure that out.

do you have any updates? does it impact reading codes out of OBD2 or anything like that?
I've been on the road a lot more and my 4runner lives outside. remote start would make my life a bit easier for a good part of the year. the ability to have all the ice on my windshield cleared off while I get ready to go inside will save me time...

Yep, still going strong and even better since I added the cell phone module. I have an OBD2 adapter for my head unit and it reads everything fine. I've also been able to read and reset codes with no issue using the OBD2 connector
