Intermittent AC issue

Apologized if I missed a thread with my search, but I gave up after about 10 minutes of chasing dead end links in google. My '16 with ~90k miles is having an intermittent AC issue. A few times over the past couple weeks, the air conditioning randomly just doesn't come on. No fan, no forced air flow, etc. Then randomly after several minutes of driving it will usually fire up, and works fine, both cool and heat. When it first happened, I thought I had a blown fuse, but then it started working.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Does the light on the A/C button work? I would start by checking the wire harness connection to the dash controls. After that, my next stop would be the real time data in techstream to see which side of the ECU the problem lies.

Smack the blower motor under glove box. If it suddenly comes on, time for a new blower.
