Dummy buttons next to console cupholder

What are these for? Can they be punched out and used for aftermarket seat warmers?

That's where the seat warmer switches are on the SR5 Premium.

I know a little old, but there are a handful of shops that sell switches to fit in those spots. Probably buy the Toyota seat warmer dials if you are going to wire seat warmers.

My Limited has the blank spots as well, with the factory heated seats controlled by small knobs at the bottom of the climate control panel.

There’s a thread I remember reading a couple years ago about installing an aftermarket heated seats kit, with switches that fit the blanks. The kit was less than $150 online. The thread had a how to with plenty of photos. Looks easy and I’d love to do this on my ‘18 SR5, but removing and replacing the upholstery looks above my pay grade, so I haven’t jumped. No upholstery shop in my small, isolated town either.
