With actual performance shocks all around tuned right and air bumps, you could prob be just fine out there. Won't be trophy truckin' through the big stuff, but there's plenty of desert out there without 3ft whoops.
Do you ever go to Superstition? There's a section that goes from the train track road to pole line that is a ton of fun and good for mid travel trucks.

No kidding. I don't normally bottom out the front (same as yours) over bumps even if there is a tiny air gap under the front wheels.
However, what bottoms out the front if I am not careful are the sharp, narrow drainages that run across, depending on the shape and size.
Especially if there is a dip followed by a sharp rise. It is like hitting a curb full front essentially.
Except for those, I can go fast enough to worry that hitting a rock can have nasty consequences.
And how about cows??? (they were not even sore, 90mph, but that's a Geiser chromoly cage and a properly prepped race car with all the safety features).

I think a confident setup and knowing how to drive does wonders. That's rad you were able to keep up with raptors.
I feel my shocks are the best they can be. I've had them tuned twice. First time at accutune then I went to dialed shock prep.

So is X-REAS basically a system that uses the opposite corner shock as a “reservoir” for the one being compressed? (sharing fluid)
