PNW snow-pocalypse Mazama Open Range tires
HOOOOOLLLLYYY crap, what a mess these past few days in the upper-left!!! Winthrop: 17 inches of new fluffy snow over a compacted snow base, temps in single digits and teens, and a dire need to deliver my Niece to SeaTac for her flight back east. TL;DR version- Mazama Open Ranges did so great breaking new trail in hub-deep snow without chains. Had to ditch any ideas of getting to Seattle, so busted it to Spokane, on drifting highway snow and compact ice. Bad black ice from Cheney to Spokane. Stayed in 4-hi all the way. 17.9mpg at 60-65 mph. LOVE these tires. Niece put on plane at Spokane airport, she landed at BWI safely. As always, YMMV.
