Off road performance upgrading from 4th to 5th gen
I apologize if this has been asked before (but I couldnt find a good thread). If so if someone could link the thread i'd appreciate it
I have a 4th gen 08 v6 that I enjoy taking on off road trails (forest trails, mountain climbing, snow, mild-moderate rock crawling, beach driving).
I have the opportunity to buy an 18 ORP with 30k from a family member for a good price at the current market. I appreciate some of the advantages of the 5th gen including added longevity on top of my 08, more aftermarket parts etc etc
For those of you that have upgraded from a 4th to 5th gen, did you find a significant improvement in off road performance - particularly on hill climbs? IE having a rear locker, more advanced ATRAC, and the terrain management/ crawl control systems or were you not super impressed with the upgrade?
Thanks so much for anyone's thoughts
