Fluid Maintenance Schedual

Hi All

I’m just looking to create my own Fluid Maintenance schedule. Below is what I have so far. Most of it I got from a Toyota mechanics called The Car Care Nut and the rest from the manual. The one that is most confusing is when to grease the propeller shaft. The Toyota manual show doing it every 5,000 under hard condition but I have no idea what it is under normal conditions.

For breaks and steering the manual doesn’t say but from you tube videos I hear every 3-5 years. Not really sure.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Following.......always wondered if it really matter with some of the 4x4 parts to be greased and what not. Have a 17 limited with 59xxx and haven't done anything outside of oil changes. Yes she is a pavement princess.

This is a great start OP. I'll add that at least the rear diff may benefit from a first change earlier to get break-in metals out. I changed mine at 10,000 miles and it was filthy and a load of metal on the magnet (looks like a grey paste). I plan to run with the fluid for 30k from here and change at 40k.

Will it be fine if you wait till 30k for first change? Yes, that's why it has the magnet. I've seen rear diffs that never get changed over 100k miles and were still running fine. I am just adding this comment for those who are really particular and enjoy the work and satisfaction that comes from fresh fluids haha.

I haven't taken a look yet, does anyone know if our ball joints are greaseable? I've done the prop shaft/spiders.
