Have a look at the nFab web site. Looks better than running boards, the bottom hoop on mine are 14 inches above the ground, the same as the frame rails. No problem unless you go rock crawling. They look like this:

I like those, but for some reason the 2010 model SR5's are not compatible with most of the step bars I've looked at. My SR5 has the cladding at the bottom, so the ones you have definitely won't work for me. I looked at NFAB's site as well, and none of them fit my truck.
I don't like the look of running boards, so I really want to find a good looking set of step bars that will work for me.

Unfortunately the blocky design of 10 SR5 rocker panel is probably going to eat into any open space for proper footing with any step.
You may want to consider replacing the rocker panels with those from the 14+ SR5/TRD or the aftermarket ones from Shrockworks. You’ll open up a world of possibilities doing so.

are you sure these ones don't fit

I think those fit - but they are steel not aluminum FYI

Looks OK for a 2010 SR5, maybe read the detail to be sure.
Mine are steel and I had to repaint part of the hoop due to rust. If it happens again, I will use black bed liner to cover it.
There is a post in the stickies at the top from
@ Antman
about how to trim the rocker panel if needed. Looks easy.

Bought mine from 4 Wheel Parts a long time ago for about $300.

I just bought a '16 Limited with no factory running boards. I don't plan to beat on this pretty one in the woods like I used to do to my '98 SR5. I also now have two small children who need some type of step up, and I hate the look of the stock running boards. IMO it's too much chrome stock and too chunky looking when guys wrap or plastidip the chrome.
I was having trouble finding decent looking nerf bars that were aluminum and that fit the Limited but I went on 4wheelparts.com just now and found these that list fitment as both my Limited and your 2010 SR5;

I'm not 100% sold on the round tube look but they do fit the Limited in the photos pretty well. Sounds like your rockers are similar shape. Just throwing it out there in case you haven't found something better (if you have found something better let me know!)

I have a set of the 3" N-Fabs I have been trying to sell. They are listed in the classifieds. I would probably take less but shipping prices are ridiculous these days.
