The issue I think with some of these weaker portables is in extreme colds, when most people's batteries die and have no juice left. there's just not enough juice to get it going again from the portable chargers. autowit supercap2 is supposed to be good too. it doesn't work on lithium and uses capacitors which don't drain over time. called CAA, they were swamped and they didn't even show up. so I now have gauge 2 jumpers all the time with me

I returned my GB40 too. But that was project farms fault. lol
Yes, i used it on a 7.3 diesel with a completely dead battery so I had to use the "power mode" and started no problem. Also jumped my 4Runner and a Ram 1500.
I agree, the cold is a problem and long term storage. Having the largest capacity is a big help, and warming a frozen jump pack even if its in your jacket for 5 minuets before jumping will do wonders.
I have to say the GooLoo has some serious CCA, people are surprised how fast it turns the engine.
