2021 ORP Time for a lift and wheels

2021 orp I have got about 12k miles on it and Im ready for some changes. Ive done alot of research but would like some opinions on my proposed setup. Let me know if you see any issues or if you have a similar setup. My biggest concern is the JBA Uca's and rubbing.

Bilstein 6112/5160 lift. Id like to get 2.5" in the front and 1.5" in the back. Not sure what coils to go with for the back. Any recomendations

JBA high caster HD uca

Method 703's 17x8.5 with 0/4.75 backspacing

K02's 285/70/17's

***Following**

Nothing to add as I'm not skilled in the art of lifts, but I do a lot of research for my upcoming rig.

Sounds like a solid plan, but hopefully others will chime in with actual feedback.

Cheers and please post pics!

2021 ORP Time for a lift and wheels

I was told recently that 5160’s are being redesigned with no timetable for release. I would not count on them being a reliable option in the near future, but that’s just what I was told by my local shop/their Bilstein rep.

I punted and went Dobinson due to price/availability.

Currently have the 6112/5160 setup with Wheelers T13 1.5" rear springs and OME 10mm spacers for the rear, fronts set at 2.5". Been on the 4runner since Dec 2020 and 17k miles roughly. One of the 5160 leaked within the first month, took 2 or 3 months to get a refund under warranty. Replaced leaking 5160 and it is leaking again, but not as bad as the first one where it was leaking onto the garage floor. The 6112s are great, 5160s leave a lot to be desired. If I had to do it all over again, I would look at similarly priced Ironman or Dobinsons .

Falken Wildpeaks 285/70/17 with Icon Rebounds 17x8.5 +0 and 4.75" BS

Haven't purchased UCA yet, 4runner tracks straight 98% of the time, caster at 2.7 and 2.5 after lift and alignment. According to JBA website and emailing them, they should not rub and just clear but I think real world they might rub at full droop.

Really happy with my setup. The fender liner mod has been done and I did remove the front mud flaps to deal with some minor rubbing when turning while compressed.

The rear springs are rated at 1.25” (no 3rd row… 1” with 3rd row) but I at least got 1.5. My rear sits at 23.75 hub to fender. Dobinsons 302s in the front and 505s in the rear would give you the on paper 2.5/1.5 and then if it has more rake than you want the spacers are an easy option to correct that.
