Any experience with either of these?

Looking for a budget friendly low beam LED without an entire housing swap. Anyone run these? Are the any more functional than OEM Halogen?

Toyota 4Runner LED Low Beam Set

And looking to swap out the grill. The kit from trail4runner.com is sold out. Yotaverse is $210. Several on Amazon for $99 - 159. Anyone have a decent priced one they'd recommend?

There are a number of threads on here about how you should not put LEDs in 4Runners stock housing...
Upgrade to HID not LED

Here's the summation of the argument in the fewest words:
"If you want a car with LED headlights, get a car that comes with LED headlights.

The 4R projectors are made for halogen but HIDS will upgrade the light output. LEDs at the moment will not upgrade the light output."

HID vs LED for Headlights

The only way to get good LED headlights is to spend $$$$ and get complete replacement LED housings.
Before you drive yourself crazy try the proven modification to higher performing halogen bulbs in this thread:

Best (most reliable with no issues) LED headlights

Don't go with LED in the stock housing. I did and the performance was TRASH. I went back to halogen and though output was lower they were better than the LED.

You have the luxury of separate reflectors for your lows and highs.

Just please don’t buy your kits from Headlight Experts. I got some defective parts that resulted in one HID bulb being a strong pink while the other was not.

theres a couple halogen bulbs that work as well as HID. that being said, i've had no issues with my 35 watt HID kit from some company that was recenly bought. I forget who it was now.
