TRD Pro w/Eibach Lift w/265's

Has anyone added the Eibach spring lift to the TRD Pro and kept the stock sized tires? My preference is to keep the 265/70R17's rather than go larger but I'm not sure if they will look too small.

If anyone has photo's of the 265's with the lift, please post them.

I did.. Eibach springs up front, 0.25 inch spacer on top of the shock, and load leveler adjustable perches in the back with the +200 (250??) lbs spring set.. The stock-size tires look small.. I'll grab a pic in a few...

I have the Bilstein 6112 2.5" lift in the front and 1.5" in the rear and I currently have BFG ATs in the stock size and it actually doesn't bother me. But I have aftermarket wheels with a different width/offset and I do plan on going bigger at some point.

It does look better but it’s not that much of a difference.

DallasTRDPRO - I see you now have a different vehicle with 275's on it. What are your thoughts on 275's compared to the 285's? I am considering 275's but I want KO2's and they only make them in a E-rated tire, which is too heavy for my needs.

I loved my Pro and the look of the 285's. These 275's are just as big as my friends Jeep with 285's. I have no rubbing, but I didn't on 285's either. I get better gas mileage by about 1-1.5mpg with the 275's. Maybe slightly quicker acceleration. I wish my current 4R was lifted by 3", but its a lease and even though I think I will buy it at the end of my lease thats never been the case with me since 18 months is the longest I've kept a vehicle. If you are running a leveling kit I would go with 275's. If you will be lifted more 2" go with the 285's.

Thanks form your input. I'm not convinced that the springs are necessary for my needs but im considering it. Im not so much into looks but do not want any rubbing nor do I want to cut anything. Gas mileage and acceleration are a concern for me which is why I would prefer the 265's but haven't seen what it will look like. Fortunately, Im not in a hurry but grateful for your experiences.

Eibach hasn’t made the lift springs for fox shocks yet right?

I don't think so. I emailed them and they said they should be available around April.

It's exclusively a style preference. I prefer the look of the top pic more than the lower pic. I'm just not a fan of the fat balloon tire look. I like a sharper profile, more in line with the size and cut of the rims as opposed to round. I just don't see a T4R as a soft, round-type of 4x4. My ORP looks pretty much just like yours in the top pic with 265 tires. I could have put on 285s or any size that could fit, I just prefer the look of the KO2 265s. I'll admit the stock TRD Pro tires aren't as rugged looking as KO2, I still would keep those until they needed replacing. When I upgraded, I'd still pick 265. I totally understand why the majority prefers the "biggest is best" look. It's definitely the more popular look. it's just not for me. And functionally, 285s would not perform better for my driving conditions, they would actually make performance worse.
