*won't not ain't. I can't seem to edit the title.
That 3 month old white Luck dragon in the middle is all over my vehicle and when I turn around to fuss he goes flying back over the seat to the cargo area.

Hmmm. I'm going to need more pictures of all three dogs before I can make any good recommendations.
Just kidding. I can't recommend anything. I just want to see more pictures of your dogs.

you got it! here are the knuckleheads. i bought a cheap set of horizontal bars from amazon that attach to the back of the headresets and M-E-T-I-C-U-L-O-U-S-L-Y meaured, spaced and levelled the bars and tightened the screws...all to absolutely NO AVAIL as Puff the Magic Puppy immediately threw himself into them repeatedly on the inaugural drive messing them all up. Now that he knows he can't get through them he's stopped so I'll have to fix them again.
Otherwise I have a husky shell in the cargo area and a movers blanket which I *thought* was secured to the backs of the seats but as you can see the dogs took care of that too.

Going to second the Raingler suggestion. So many options and configurations.

Check out the MIM Safe VarioBarrier
I had the Raingler net and I really really wanted it to work but my Weimaraner had other ideas. He found the gaps pretty quickly and then the net idea was dead. I ended up getting a Variocage but I was going to try their barrier as it’s crash tested as well. Not sure if this is what your after but might be worth looking into.

My big question is how to protect the headliner from wet muddy dogness.

I made this to keep Rottweiler slobber off the back seat. So far it’s great. Attaches with zip ties now but I may find a bit better solution, something reusable.

That's awesome! Keeps them from jumping and from getting mud and dirt on the backs of the seats.

Maybe helpful for an immediate simple solution: Harness to floor or seatbelts.
Pic, just because Pittbulls.
