Tire Question

Stupid question but I’m looking to get new wheels and tires for my 5th gen ORP. Will 265/75/17 tires fit on aftermarket 17x8.5 10mm wheels?

fit as in can be mounted? I think so. fit as in rub, I am not sure, might be close. the 265/75s are about an inch more in diameter than the 265/70s

Sorry, I meant fit as in the tire being mounted on the rim. I’m prepared to trim if needed. Yokohama Geolanders AT’s and SCS wheels.

Generally speaking, a 265 will be fine on a 7"-8.5" wide rim. Usually a tire manufacturer will list a suggested rim width. That said, where are you finding a 265/75-17 tire? The Yokohama site doesn't list that size for a 17" rim. I had 265/70-17 KOs on 8.5x17 Stealth 6s. That said ... again, LOL! I had a slight rub at full lock right in reverse.

Do you mean a 265/70r17? I don't believe there are any 265/75r17 tires.

if so, yes. You'll be fine.
