I have the exact same year truck, and my oem blades look exactly the same. I’m assuming yours are oem as well. I just bought some super cheap aftermarket wipers on Amazon, I think they were around 20$. They work great, from my experience wipers are one of the things I never get oem.

I have the OEM hybrid beam wipers. I was actually trying to find which ones they were the other day since I really liked them. I dug up my receipts from when they were installed
they are PNs:
C0222-HYB20
C0222-HYB24
85242-35050 (rear in case anyone needs PN, it's not a beam wiper)
10 years worth of receipts and service history does come in handy sometimes lol

They sell the wiper refill and also complete blades. The refill is like $6.

I have been using Trico Force blades for many years and am very happy with them. I also use the orange rainx fluid.

Didnt know about the OEM blade only replacement, I would've gone that route. I purchased the bosch icon clearmax from advance auto parts for about $20 per blade.
Advance auto parts typically has coupons $30 or $40 off $100.

I've never had a dealer refuse to sell me OEM wiper blade inserts, I'm located in central Indiana. I just give them the model and year and they bring the inserts right out. I have always stuck with the OEM inserts, they seem to work well and are cheap enough I can replace them 2x a year if needed.

Use the Toyota Parts website and find a dealer with the best discount.
Order $75 worth of crap and get free shipping. Order your oil and air filters, brake pads, skid guard bolts, dif and trans gaskets, etc .
Looks like Hamer Toyota has a decent discount right now.

This is great. The prices online were cheaper than what the dealer said over the phone and there’s a option of picking up at the dealer. It was a great deal. Thanks

Looks like there’s a 20% off sale on the Toyota parts website.
Get your wiper refills now!
Use the same technique I posted above to find a discount dealer, I see them for under six bucks.

I’ll stick with OEM, I replaced my 2018 blades last fall and they weren’t really too bad. I figure over 3 years on a set of blades I’ll replace with the same blades. Don’t remember what I paid, but when I paid for them the guy in the parts room asked if I wanted him to replace them, I asked “free of charge?” He said of course, I said of course. I’ll stick with OEM

I just replaced some Bosch blades with OEM blades and the OEM blades have been great in snow, ice, and rain. I found the part number from another thread and found it cheapest to purchase on Amazon (where the seller was a dealer). I did find it odd, it was cheaper on Amazon than it was through that dealer's website since they added a shipping charge.

Hi All. I want to give you a warning about Toyota wiper blades. The dealers sell two types of wiper blade for the 4Runner and both are listed as Genuine Toyota parts. There is the original factory OEM wiper blades and they also sell a after market made by Sightline but the box says Genuine Toyota Parts and uses Toyota wiper blades. HOWEVER, the wiper blade refills only fit the original OEM wiper blades from Japan. They will not fit the Sightline wipers and Toyota doesn’t sell wiper inserts for them. They expect you to pay $20 for them and then throw them away. This is retarded and wasteful. I recently bought wiper blade refills thinking I had original OEM wiper blade but I discovered later and that I have the Sightline and not the original OEM factory ones. So the wiper blade replacements I bought don’t fit. So now I either have to buy the factory wiper blades which cost $30 a piece, buy another set of the Sightline for about $20 a piece or after markets blade. I don’t know if there are any after market wiper blades refills fit the Sightline. If you know please let me know.
So that no one suffers my mistake here are picture of the two different blades.
This is the original factory wiper blade from Japan. The easiest way to identify it is that it has no Toyota logo on the center and the top cover of the wiper blade is in 3 sections.
For some reason I can’t get the OEM pictures posted at this time. It seems the photo gallery is slow in uploading. I will try again later but at least you can see the Sightline for now.
The Sightline has a Toyota logo on it and the upper portion of the wiper blades are in 5 sections. There is a center piece and two covers on each end. Toyota wiper blades refills WILL NOT work on these!!!!

I just put on a set of Bosch Icon blades last week and used them for the first time last night. Didn't realize how bad my old OEM ones had gotten. Seem really good to me and it rains all the time in Houston so we'll see how they last.

Has anyone found an online dealer selling the refill inserts lately?
My local dealer doesn't sell them and I tried to get them from McGeorge while ordering other parts. They don't sell them anymore either.
