My local dealer doesn't sell them and I tried to get them from McGeorge while ordering other parts. They don't sell them anymore either.
For which wipers? The dealer sells two types? The original factory OEM ones or ones made by Sightline? The OEM wipers have a 3 piece plastic upper cover. The Sightline has a 5 piece plastic upper cover and has a Toyota logo on it.

For the original wipers you can order parts from Toyota Official Online Parts here. Toyota Parts and Accessories - Official Online Store
If you order $75 or more shipping is free. If your order is less than $75 and want to save on shipping you can pick your order at your local dealer. However, not all dealer allow this. In my area there are 3 Toyota dealers Concord, Dublin and Livermore CA. Livermore doesn’t allow pickups for some reason.

As for the Sightline wipers I found out that my NAPA Auto Parts said they have some but I didn’t buy them so I’m not sure if they fit. Try there.

I've not had very good luck with OEM Toyota blades. Toyota keeps changing the source. Instead, I've switched to the Bosch Icon blades and been very happy with them.

If you want OEM Toyota blades, if you have the part number, search Amazon. I have bought several automotive parts on Amazon from Toyota dealerships.

Costco sells the Muchelin wiper blades and they are dirt cheap. I tried the high end version of Rain X and could not get rid of them fast enough. Here in Montana we end up changing them every year.

Costco sells the Michelins for about $6 on sale, do they also sell Bosch?
I bought the Michelins as back-ups, haven’t used them on the 4R but we used them on the RAV4 and they were good for a season.

Ya, it’s weird how some Toyota dealers that participate on Toyota Parts and Accessories - Official Online Store don’t sell some stuff.
I’m not surprised some don’t want to ship coolant or oils, but for awhile spark plugs were listed as “no longer available”. Same for wiper blade refills.

Looks like Maita in Sacramento has all three available.

The original factory OEM inserts.

I tried parts.toyota.com and it gave me the option for pickup at my local dealer at a discount off MSRP. The local dealer was the first to tell me they don't sell inserts at all anymore despite being able to put them into an online order.

I wonder if this is a Southeast Toyota Distributor issue pushing Sightline. I may try a dealer out of this region.

There is the original factory OEM wiper blades and they also sell a after market made by Sightline but the box says Genuine Toyota Parts and uses Toyota wiper blades. HOWEVER, the wiper blade refills only fit the original OEM wiper blades from Japan. They will not fit the Sightline wipers and Toyota doesn’t sell wiper inserts for them. They expect you to pay $20 for them and then throw them away. This is retarded and wasteful. I recently bought wiper blade refills thinking I had original OEM wiper blade but I discovered later and that I have the Sightline and not the original OEM factory ones. So the wiper blade replacements I bought don’t fit. So now I either have to buy the factory wiper blades which cost $30 a piece, buy another set of the Sightline for about $20 a piece or after markets blade. I don’t know if there are any after market wiper blades refills fit the Sightline. If you know please let me know.

So that no one suffers my mistake here are picture of the two different blades.

This is the original factory wiper blade from Japan. The easiest way to identify it is that it has no Toyota logo on the center and the top cover of the wiper blade is in 3 sections.

For some reason I can’t get the OEM pictures posted at this time. It seems the photo gallery is slow in uploading. I will try again later but at least you can see the Sightline for now.

The Sightline has a Toyota logo on it and the upper portion of the wiper blades are in 5 sections. There is a center piece and two covers on each end. Toyota wiper blades refills WILL NOT work on these!!!!

Do you know the part numbers for the original Toyota wiper blades? Found out I have the Sightline blades and I want to switch to the original blades so that I can use the blade inserts.

OEM blades are better and cheaper to replace than aftermarket. With OEM ones you can just order the rubber part that slides in and out instead of replacing the whole blade.

I have kept my OEM wiper assemblies and just changed inserts when needed. I think they function better than any aftermarket wipers I have ever bought. The inserts I have found cheapest on ebay or buying from a dealer that sells below MSRP.

NAPA sells blade refills for the Sightline blades but you’ll have to spend $40 to get them. Instead of $20 for 1 right and 1 left blade you have to buy 2 right and 2 left blades separately. Might as well buy the OEM ones.

I’m not sure who you are planning to buy from but give Toyota Parts a try too. I found that I got better prices than eBay. Note, not all dealers participate in this. Also you but more than $75 worth of stuff you can have it shipped for free. Toyota Parts and Accessories - Official Online Store

I have been buying OEM refills for as long as i have owned the truck (ie bought new) I did buy a set of complete OEM replacements and they are sitting on the shelf, whenever I feel like replacing the originals... so nine years and the original assemblies still going strong on an outside truck.

IMHO getting whole new assemblies when all you need is a blade is just a bullshit waste and lazy (it take 3 more minutes per wiper, if your slow, to replace a blade vs. the whole thing)

I’m sorry to hear that. I would contact Toyota Customer Service directly and submit a complaint. 800-331-4331

They should have at least called you and told you if you wanted the substitute before making the change. Curiosity question. How did you order the blades?
