Still tad old school and would prefer rotors cut or just change the pads if no issues. I had my brake pads changed at about 52k all around at about $130 per axle from the dealer. So far no issues with pulsating but next brake change Ill do the rotors as well.

i've done just the pads in the past. by the time i'm done with my 2nd brake pads, the rotors were in really bad shape. i thought, i should have done the rotors the first time. lol!

I want reliable brakes. But again I have never replaced rotors on the first change and never had an issue. Is this truly bad not to replace the rotors on the first change over with a 4Runner because its a larger vehicle?

Checked by my friend and he said they are closer to half way than 4mm. He doesn't even think they looked at them. lol

Said to come back in 10-20k. Ill probably just do everything at that point.

Cant wait to go back to the dealer and they say I need to do breaks because they are at 4mm again. lol
