I bought a new to me 21 Barcelona Red Venture a couple weeks back. The color has grown on me quite a bit. It has been a pretty busy couple weeks with it, its not quite stock anymore!

I noticed the 4Runner vehicle used on the Toyota website is always red. Probably because red is a fun, eye catching color. I rarely see them "out in the wild" though, always either white, MGM, or silver. Thanks for all the cool photos!

If the color of the 4Runner used in ads is important, I've been seeing a Nautical Blue TRD ORP 4Runner, in a 4Runner commercial that has been running during the Olympics broadcasting.

LOL! Just looking for a little perspective, as it was not a color I really even thought about looking at until now, and nice to see how great it looks as there aren't many around here. Red is a bit more of a statement color than most of the rest, but my wife and and I would have been perfectly happy with whatever in the long run. But definitely make it a little easier to find ours in a parking lot though, if this deal goes through.

I have a 2015 Barcelona Red Limited. Paint is holding up fine. There are some color shifts, sometimes it does take on a deeper (darker) red color.

"Tint Shifting" seems like a thing on some of the colors like Army Green and Lunar Rock.

I love my Barcelona Red '19 ORP. I was kinda leaning towards the blue when I was shopping but my wife insisted I get red. I'm glad she insisted. The color does somewhat change on lighting conditions. In full sun it's a pretty brilliant red, in shade it looks slightly darker. I have a few scratches on it and it's sometimes hard to find them so I suppose it hides them fairly well.
Another reason I like the red is because there seems to be a ton of silver, gray, black, and white 4Runners out there. Red stands out.

Looks great with the black TRD rims.
Yeah, definitely sooo many clones of Rent-a-Car colors (though I was open to MGM), I told the dealer no black, white, or silver
