Cargo weight capacity

hi, I've been trying to look but can't find the cargo weight limit capacity of the trunk area. Once a month, I cart about 600 pounds of dog food to the local Humane Society. Been using my wife's van for the past several years, was wondering if anyone had an idea about the limit for the 4runner. I tried lifting up the rear carpet but it's folded in on the sides and I'm afraid that something might tear. Thank you

If you open the drivers door, there is a sticker on the B-pillar which states the maximum weight rating for passengers and cargo. You might also have a yellow sticker which notes any factory or port installed accessories, which further reduces the maximum allowable weight of passengers and cargo by the stated amount.

The stated rating that most manufacturers give, allows for a full tank of gas, and 150 lbs for a driver.

it's about 1495 lbs includes passenger weight. The sticker on the door 1165 lbs. But the vehicle can handle more then 1500lbs easily. lots of overweight mods on these trucks and they still do alright.

600lbs is nothing for the 4runner. From experience, I've thrown 12+ 50lb landscaping bags of dirt (600lbs+) plus multiple bags of mulch (probably another 200lbs) in the back. If I didn't know it was in there I wouldn't have been able to tell just by driving and looking at the vehicle (no noticeable squat)

Your good, I've done 25 bags of concrete. The truck did feel a bit boat like when driving tho.

Do you have a cargo deck? If so, I believe they rate that at 440 lbs or risk damaging the tracks due to dynamic weight of loading.

no fancy rear cargo deck. Just base SR5 flat floor. Thank you guys for the help! Seems like my monthly dog food run can start happening in my truck instead of my wife's van.
