I think the solution is to figure out a way to pull it higher in between the frame rails and behind the last cross member. Make it sit on the same level as the gas tank, or taller

Finally found the time to get the rear Kings installed. Lost the damn top nut in the gas tank skid plate for damn near and hour, but otherwise smooth install and looks killer
Will hopefully have time to get the fronts done this week

Shock boots? I have shock skid plates from FJ toyman. What boots are you referring to?

good, those are life savers for the damn bolt.
Rubber boots to protect the shaft from rocks being slung at them.
first google option that popped up for me
Shock Boots - AccuTune Off-Road

TRDHULK, how do you like the Ironmanoffroad gear? I just got a "newsed" 4runner, and I think that'll be my front bumper is their low profile one that fits in the front valance area.
I like the way it looks. Love your build and the name BTW!!

Thanks man! Sorry havent logged on here in a while.
I like Ironman stuff. I've only had a few things from them and they all seem like quality. Their customer service is great

I haven't updated in a while; not too much has changed.
Swapped out the 315 KM3's for 35x12.5's
Installed my dual ARB compressor with M.O.R.E. mount

Thanks!
It gets used off road when I have the chance. This thread is mainly just for the build. Follow my IG
@ TRDHULK
I work a lot and needed several things buttoned up before taking it back off road. The 35's were more work than expected lol.
Working out the last details to my ARB compressor and Sponsored by Wifey air system. Waiting for a few pieces to come in the mail.

I know I already see your 5th gen all over Instagram, just a friendly nudge to go out and actually use this thing ;)
35s take a lot of work to get right: Upgraded steering rack, BMC, chopped fenders and flares, upgraded steering knuckle, gears, the list goes on and on.
A heads up on how you have your dual compressor mounted, I mounted mine in the same place. Make sure you have multiple bolts attaching your bracket to the fender. The metal is paper thin there and it will eventually cause the bracket mounting points to fail from off road vibration if you dont mount it in multiple places. Ask me how I know...

I'd love to use it off road more. I work in the car business so hours are crazy, and have a family too lol. Many times when I go off road its by myself, so no camera person. Thats one reason I got the Insta360 Camera.
35s sure do take a lot of work. I've done most everything you mentioned except the steering knuckle and gears. Don't find that necessary yet but time will tell.
What compressor mount did you use? This one is MORE. it does bolt in multiple spots
