Ko2 is garbage in wet and snow if that is what you want as most important. I can only speak to NW weather, and it inspires no confidence. With wet and snow here, many of my friends and I have stopped using KO2.
Falken Wildpeaks, huge different. Way better in wet, and also less city road noise.
Just my 2 cents, but stay away from KO2, there are better wet options.

Not sure who you've spoken to, I live on the east coast in the low country of the south and have plenty of rain. 100,000+ miles of driving and traction is exactly what I would expect for any all terrain tire. If you want to drive your runner like a race car in the rain, get a street tire. If you want to go on/off road, KO2's are well rounded IMO. They will go on my Land Cruiser as well as soon as the current tires need to be replaced.

One of the people I trust most when it comes to truck/off road related things ran K02's forever on his truck until he got stuck on a ~10% grade driveway and was spinning all 4 wheels in 4H. That's enough for me to skip them entirely.

Couldn't have said it any better ! But I run 39lbs of air for daily driving. (Load Range C)

Odd, I can barely spin my tires on wet roads even if I try, much less in 4wd. I think there are some better liked AT tires for wet driving, but again I've never had any issues with KO2 other than in mud or ice and I do everything I can to avoid that anyway.

Mine are c as well. I did the load calc based on the vehicle sticker and got 44 and stuck with it. Been happy even though a little harsher ride. Wear and handling is great. Considering giving a P metric AT tire a try next time, there are a few popping up now where all the AT tires used to be LT only. I don't think I would ever need to go E rated, never had an issue with C.

The landscape here in sw Pennsylvania is all rolling hills. (primarily farmland) We get a bunch of rain & I have never had any problems with the KO2's. Its strange to hear many complaints about the wet traction with these tires when its been a non issue for myself on different 4x4 trucks. I will continue to run these in 6 ply because "if it ain't broke, it don't need fixin".

Yep, I travel to Somerset at least once per year, usually in the winter. Lived in Mechanicsburg, York, and Bloomsburg for a long time. Very familiar, although was driving a jeep and then a full size Bronco back then with the original TA's.

when i had ko2s, they seem to work just fine in most conditions other than mud.

Actually I’m a little surprised to hear some of you are so close. I’m in Washington county. I ran a set of KO2 on a Nissan Frontier I had and didn’t care for them at all. So for better or worse they are not a consideration. It’s going to be the grabber or the Toyo this time. I just cannot decide which.

For those of you running Wildpeaks, are you SL or LT? If LT are you C or E
I’d love to try the wildpeaks but the LT versions are so heavy.
Also, how do SL tires handle pot holes? Our highways are shit and full of them

Running SL, does the job for general log roads, regular city/hwy driving, and the odd back country run I do for camping.
I'm not rock crawling on my 4runner, it is still my daily commuter.
One thing to keep in mind, every city / state has different road materials. The combination or weather and road quality/material speaks to traction, hence the different opinions.
Some tires work better for different states, just keep that in mind, not all roads are made the same.
