Hike IT XS

So i purchased the new XS and wasn't let down. (Or at least not as of yet.)

Simple installation, truly unplug and plug n play. So far only have played with Hike IT mode and wow, even at 1/4 throttle it was flying. I wanted the newest version so i can play wit the valet mode and such . But for anyone wanting to get this little number, its awesome. Not sure the difference between this and the Pedal Commander. I guess P.C. can use Bluetooth with your phone, but the XS has a better face that you can see what mode you are in and what level of the mode you are using.

I have a long stretch of Highway on the way to work and I used it today. you get there in a hurry. So Its a great bang for your buck I think.

Enjoy!

Do you have any update on the XS? I’ve been trying to decide if this one is worth it over the X9. I am not finding too many 4Runner reviews with the XS.

Having it for 5 months now i've only had 1 issue with it and it was user error. I've played with a bunch of the settings and settled on sport mode 10. I found hike it mode to be a little too extreme for me. I basically redlined my runner the first day or so of having the hike it and it went into limp mode. So i limped it home, disconnected the battery and reset the system. All said i'm happy with what i've experienced. I can't say for the x9. But assuming that it was the newest model and such i like the way it looked and had a knob and a display screen, which led me to purchase it. So difference between the 2. probably little to nothing just better user experience with settings.

~Have at it~
