Well, It started with just ABS Light, VSC Light and A Flashing Multi-Terrain....

so i thought... oh. probably a ABS Wheel sensor.... she drove fine home... went inside got my TechStream laptop and plugged her in... spend the next 5+ hours trying to get them to talk but no bueno.... while idling trying to get TechStream to work... the car starts freaking out... every light on the dash lit up like it was a Land Rover, Tach started bouncing, the gear indicator went blank, Range and outside Temp displayed 'E'....... I'm stumped. I have no idea what's going on

unplugged the battery overnight, put a trickle charger on the battery so it was fully changed, cleaned all the terminals, unplugged ALL my aftermarket accessories, unplugged my aftermarket LED's, unplugged the ABS Module (Just to get it to stop freaking out), checked every fuse with a multimeter, found a lil water inside the tow trailer plug, cleaned that and took out all the fuses and relays associated to it.... I can't figure it out

ANY input from you guys would be greatly appreciated...

Could this still be a friggin speed sensor spazzing out the ECU's???

Did you actually replace the ABS sensor/wires? That might do it. Fixed my similar issues years ago.

No i didn't, I wanted to dig around in techstream and try to figure out which sensor it was. they all look fine physically and the wires aren't damaged :S I'll have to go in with a multi meter or something and test them all out I think.

Trans selector switch probably bad. Check by un-plug it.

I'm fighting this issue now as well. Could not pull codes either, but the stars aligned somehow and I got several. The one of note, that resulted in the most search results was C1425.

Appears to be related to water intrusion at the driver side firewall. I'm still researching and reading and poking around. At this point it's intermittent. Problem started after sitting under snow and rain for a week and having a low battery. Driven plenty in rain prior to this, but not freezing.

It went away after drying out, but then I drove in the rain a day ago and now it's back today.

We had every idiot light come on, including the battery charge light, when the alternator went out. Eventually dash went dark and would only come on when headlights were turned off. Fortunately we were just 3+ miles from home. Installed a new Denso OEM alternator and no issues since.
