My SR5 Predator came with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I think it’s odd that all TRD models don’t come the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Especially the Pro models.

The Pro Model does come with Nitto's ATs (Terra Grapplers), but I agree with you, all the TRD models should come with them, just like the Trail ed, they are for Off-roading Toyota!

You guys have way too much faith in Toyota's factory tire selections. Ridge Grapplers are great. The Terra Grapplers they use aren't even the newer G2 and are terrible (both variants are, honestly. Incredibly loud for a tame AT and horrible in the rain). Even the TRD Pro Tacomas come with crap Goodyears. It's a shame when every other manufacturer is putting good tires on their offroad models like KO2s, Falken at3Ws, Duratracs, etc.

Pedro,
Totally agree, but in my situation the Black TRD Pro Wheel Package was forced on me if I wanted a new T4R. So it comes with what it comes with in my case lol! For the $1,300+ premium I hope it comes with something better than the crappy street Dunlops, know what I mean!

For your sake I hope it's Ridge Grapplers! And to be honest, there are much worse add ons that have been forced on people in this market. TRD wheels are probably the best forced addition I've heard of.

Mine came with Bridgestone Dueler HT684
Picked up the car today. Everything else is a dream though. The Terra Grapplers that used to come with the wheels are no longer in production for the OE size. Too bad. Those were much better.

I put 285/70/17 Yokohama Geolander ATs on mine and they are awesome. I had them on my burb for 12 yrs. Never have anything different again.

If my wheels don't come with factory Nitto A/Ts I'm going with the Toyo AT III's...

I was shocked as well. They went out of production fairly recently. Early 2022 models had the Nitto’s. I’m not sweating it though.
Actually, my preferred tire is the Michelin Defender anyway. Not doing any heavy off-roading or towing, so it will be great for me. I am sure people will scratch their head wondering why I have those tires on an off-road premium, but it’s because I wouldn’t settle on a 4Runner without KDSS.

There could be a difference in availability here based on what you ordered.
My understanding is the TRD Pro was coming with the Terra Grapplers and the non-Pro folks that paid for upgraded TRD wheels got the Ridge Grapplers.

I too would hope the TRD Pro Wheel Package comes with A/T tires because you can buy those TRD wheels for around ~$165-180/each.

In the Denver region, all the TRD ORP 4Runners I've seen when equipped with the optional TRD Pro wheels, have all had either the Bridgestone Duelers or Dunlop Grandtrek AT20's. Only the actual TRD Pro 4Runners have had the Nitto Terra Grapplers.
The Nitto Terra Grapplers are a mediocre tire too. So I'd suggest just planning to swap the tires to whatever you want when it comes in.
When I bought my TRD ORP, I immediately sold my Dunlops to Discount tire, and bought a better tire for my usage.
