2.5 or 3 inch OME lift and SPC UCA's, tire help please?

Need some help... bought a 2013 Trail on Vroom. Looked lifted, and indeed it is. Has a lift on it with OME shocks and springs... and SPC UCA's. I'm thinking it is lifted 2.5 or 3 inches, not sure exactly how to determine?

Has stock size 265/70/17 tires on it and they just look too small to me. From all the research I've done (forgive me I don't normally lift my vehicles) I could easily run 285's to fill the space.

Any feedback here appreciated. I am looking at Nitto Terra Grappler P rated 285's, if that matters. Trying to keep weight down. Also considering 275's but can't seem to find as much variety in that size that aren't E rated.

Pic of the vehicle for reference. And I've searched, but since I am pretty unfamiliar with lifts etc as I usually prefer stock, I just need some helpful advice.

I want to add I don't want to do any BMC etc, I just want a tire that will fill the space on my current rig as it sits.

You'll be fine with 285s, tho I think it looks good as-is. Looks clean, what'd you pay if you don't mind my asking?
