Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!

Thanks for the suggestion, but everything I read says they get loud quickly, so I was avoiding them for the wife's sake.

Do these do better in the rain than the KO2? That's my hangup with the BFG's is the rain performance. Too many anecdotes of them scaring people sh!tless in the wet! Plus I had a set on my previous vehicle (can't remember the model) and they wore really funny in the end despite regular rotations.

Our trucks at work run the 265/70-17's with E-load tires and they are kidney crushers on anything but smooth pavement. I'm sure part of that is the leaf springs too. Plus I'm trying to avoid the weight penalty on E-load's to keep the MPG's reasonable.
I'm not opposed to SL's, but since there's not a huge weight penalty in the ATX's for going to the C-load, I thought it would be better long term, try to split the difference.

I haven't ruled out the Firestone XT's but there just doesn't seem to be a lot of info about them. They're C-Load, seem like a hybrid that leans AT vs MT. Weight is good at 40lbs.
Thanks again!
