Help me with my kdss ORP situation

Okay guys, I’ve got a 2021
ORP and have weighted it down in the back a bit since last year. I’m gonna give you the weights and items to see what you would recommend me do to support the load; but keep in mind that I don’t want to sacrifice ride quality.

Rear Gear (w/Airlift 1000)
Gobi Rack with ladder ~100lbs
Ultraswing ~65lbs
55IM with slide empty ~85lbs
Ruffland BackseatRider~20lbs
Boxer Dog ~60
Camping Gear ~100lbs
Roofnest Condor ~130lbs
Bike Rake with bikes ~60lbs
Molle Panel and gear ~25lbs
Toolbag ~15lbs
Ecoflow River Pro ~35lbs

Front Gear (w/1.5” Cornfed)
Single ARB Comp ~5lbs

Possible add-ons
Front Bumper and winch ~190lbs
ARB 2000 Awning ~35lbs

What would you do? I really like the look of the Wescott Design TRD Pro or 3” toytech lift.

What do you want to do with it? - rock crawl, road trips, race the baja 1000?

What do you not like about the current suspension performance and what do you want to improve?

What's your budget?

I love the stock ride. It’s super solid and the kdss helps with body roll limiting. I use the rig to drive a lot; One year 26K miles here in NY and the northeast. Weekend trips to campsites or a long day trip to a highly recommended burger joint etc.

So I have KDSS and have a ton of added weight as well but I personally think most aftermarket suspensions are a definite upgrade over stock. I currently run 6112/5160s with Dobinsons c59-327 rear springs. It completely eliminated the brake nose dive, but once I added a lo-pro bumper and winch, I had to upgrade my front springs to 650lbs. The Bilsteins have served me well but I will probably be upgrading to something in the realm of Kings, Elka, Fox, etc.

Like @Jetboy stated, it really depends on what you want to do and how much you are willing to spend...

I was thinking of those rear springs. What fronts did you end up getting?

Don’t remember the part number but it was the Bilstein 650s. I believe the 6112s come with 600lb springs

@Toyota.ARK you can't go wrong with the Bilstein 6112 w/650 coils + either bilstein 5100 or 5160(reservoirs) setup + the Dobinsons C59-327 (220-400 weight). I had this setup for a few years and I enjoyed it. I dont have as much weight as you.

I've also heard that dobinson's full setup is comfortable too.
not sure if either Bilsteins or Dobinsons are going thru supply chain issues.

I'm on kings now. had em on my 1st gen taco and i missed the blue bling lol.

i'm sure you'll be happy whichever route you go.
