Good point. Plus a lift...and oversized tires...and stuff on the rack...

I think my Ram 2500 on 35's is still taller...for now...LOL!

It's going to be a couple of weeks until I have it in hand (I live a few hours away from the seller so I had a friend who lives close pick it up) so I'll get the kit ordered in the mean time.

How did this turn out on your 16? Also do you know the part number for the install kit?

Sorry for not replying sooner. I haven't been on here for a long time.

This rack worked out well for me. I have not had any issues with it leaking and it's been installed for over a year. I did go with a new hardware kit but do not remember the part # for it.

OEM TRD roof rack is decent, but it might not offer the same level of sturdiness as some aftermarket options. It depends on your needs and budget. If it's in good condition and significantly cheaper than aftermarket roof rack, it could be a good deal.

Just to add my 2 cents, the TRD roof side rails are mounted to the roof with an plastic bases. I think this is one of the weak points. If you’re planning on carrying any significant weight such as a RTT, suggest upgrading to some of the metal base options.
