TRD PRO front shid plate "lettering"

Has anybody "removed" the RED TRD letters for the front skid plate on a TRD PRO? I plan to de-badge / remove the red letters and was looking for suggestions on the best way to remove them.
Thanks

It’s held on with 3m tape so I just used a heat gun to warm them up a little and peeled them off. Make sure to install new letters to cover up the ugly holes that are left behind.

on my 20, the plate has holes in it behind the letters and the letters have tabs that stick through.

I really appreciate the "gentle feedback" letting me know there are holes in the skid plate and fasteners , which hold the letters in place.... I did not realize pulling off the 'letters" would expose holes.....so I will check it out when I do the first oil change. It only has 50 miles on it.
Thanks!!!

One of my letters got scrapped off by a rock when I was off roading several years ago. There are no factory letters available, but Tufskinz has them. Be aware, however, that there are two different sizes lettering that Toyota has used, so you need to get the right size.

The Tufskinz letters do not use posts that go through the holes. But they do come in different colors if you want to change the color.

Forum member Saker has a 2021 TRD ORP with a newer style TRD Pro skid plate that he added different colored letters and painted it black. And on his previous 2014 T4R he had black letters.
He also has some great tips on ways to attach the skid plate and avoid stripping threads.
Check it out:
