Toyota Parts Catalogue
For future reference put your VIN and you can look at all the diagrams and part numbers for everything on your Toyota.
I believe your bezel is aftermarket since from what I've seen the aftermarket head units can't be installed in the OEM bezel. Could be mistaken. The vents and things have to be switched over to the bezel tho.
Try looking on Craig's List for a bezel. I've seen a few from time to time in my area. Actually saw a complete OEM bezel and head unit recently for $250.

I have been looking for a couple days now.
It is aftermarket. When they change to aftermarket, they take the vents and that little tray out, and swap it to the new one. The previous owner did not swap the tray over, for whatever reason. Lazy, missed it, or broke it. No idea.
But, the dealership and I went through all the drawings using my vin, and that part is not separate to purchase or have part number.
If anyone does a aftermarket swap, hopefully they can see a number on there.
So far, used trim panels are being sold with stereos, and range from 599 to 1000 dollars. But they all have that piece.

wow thanks. that is so much more detailed than using toyota part-buying sites which don't always have all PNs listed

That is a great site. Looks identical to the dealerships I was looking at when there.
In my case, when you drill down to the dash/stereo nav area, it says go to figure 86-03.. No link to it, just says look at it.
If that is the same as the dealership, it brought us to the 6000.00 dollar entire radio/nav center as a unit. Not able to break it down any further.
I am still trying every site, salvage yard ( went to 2 here) via websites of wrecked ones, craigslist, etc etc..
I have found several without that little tray. The rest are the entire thing with it missing, as this seems to be a trend when someone sells them after installing new updated aftermarket ones like I have. But, they remove that tray and the vents to the new one..
So, I have allot of feelers out there looking for it, or a part number if it has one.. Easy to see if you take out the stereo and peak under it.. Should have a number, as all interior parts should.
But, until then, if anyone sees the unicorn tray out there, please let me know.
Thnx

Unfortunately is doesnt. Watch this video of TRD Jon taking one out. His is missing too. time 2:42 you will see his hand on it and its missing the tray, and its not attached to the clock/temp display that is being sold on ebay.
Then at 3:49 he has the OEM one going back in and you will see he put the tray in.

I understand this struggle. I'm looking for the little square cover that goes over the shifter release button on the center console. It was missing when I bought the truck and is not available by itself. It doesn't even show on the parts diagram. I don't remember how much the piece is that it goes in but certainly well over what my missing piece is worth.
I will keep an eye out for the piece you're looking for in my area. Unfortunately, my local pull-a-parts don't seem to have anything new enough.

Picture of part? Never know, while I am searching, I may see it.
Alos, Toyotas drawings they use for parts is a bit archaic. I wish the automotive industry would have real pictures of parts on their searches..

Turns out I was mistaken. The piece I need is listed in a different diagram. I didn't know it until I took my center console apart today for a different reason and saw the gear selector display surround is separate from the console itself.
I need part # 33554-35140 known as shift lever cap.

Yeah that's not entirely abnormal these days, a lot of parts may or may not have Toyota/Lexus stamps on them; i.e. TPMS sensors these days don't even bother with a Toyota part number on them anymore beyond the bag/box they come in.
Unfortunately, whoever installed that aftermarket unit butchered that face plate bezel, the vents themselves are separate from the headunit but those trim panels you want around the dials are part of the bezel I'm sorry to confirm. I'm guessing they though they needed to replace/remove those and never glued them back on when they did...
You might be able to find an aftermarket one that you can replace, but I am not familiar with the aftermarket radio scene beyond some minor installation/diagnosis (we don't do a whole lot of it since we work with a shop that does installs and other aftermarket electrical accessories of the like, we we tend to sublet a lot of our used/new vehicles for those types of upgrades/repairs). I will say that you might be able to find a broken/defective headunit someone is selling for parts since all you need is the bezel, but I don't know how many of them are out there; if they get replaced at the dealership, they usually get sent back to the manufacturer (Denso, Panasonic, Harmen-Becker, etc.) under a core exchange program.
I suppose you could try cold-calling some radio shops in your area if they have any bezels/broken units you could buy off them?
Post Note-
So I was doing a quick search on e-Bay to see if I could find some damaged units for you... it looks like the vast majority of aftermarket bezels seem to not have those trim pieces around the vent dials? Seems a bit weird to me since you can't get them separate. I can't tell from the parts diagrams, but maybe the vent assemblies themselves come with new dial trim? The part number is 55845-35040 for the Vent Assembly that goes behind the bezel. Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture of what a new vent assembly looks like, so I have no idea if it includes those trim pieces (likely it doesn't given how it installs onto the bezel.) Sorry...

I have an entire head unit. 200 bucks from an earlier model. Dealer is paying me for getting it.. Cant beat that as they said it was their fault..
Anyways, the vent covers are just little plastic covers that screw in from back side. I have them out as well..
All parts fit and are the same.
I know it was not pretty, but it will be fixed now..
The dealership wanted 92 bucks a piece for the vents, but could not confirm if the vent covers came with it.

Now I know why the plate up top wasnt put in. The aftermarket housing that holds the T9 plate has different size holes for the screws. The OEM ones are bigger. So, I just need to go get some smaller screws to fit the bezel.
And, the passenger side vent cover doesnt fit very well, its on, but not super flush.
I am going to get the black bezel soon, and hopefully it will fit better etc.
