New hood
Any tips on purchasing a new hood? I have scoured the net and found the hood I need but the shipping costs more than the hood. Most of them also say they only ship to a shop.. for a 2010 sr5 without scoop. I'm about to give in reluctantly to the crazy shipping cost ugh

Don't know that this will help, but you can find used parts here and see how far from you they are: Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

Most large body panels from Toyota and OEM replacements come unpainted if I recall correctly. Why not see if a local body shop can work with you, since you'll probably need the new hood painted anyways?
