Connector wiring for windshield wiper de-icer

Hi-

I have a 2021 TRD ORP and am looking to wire a switch to the cluster near the windshield wiper de-icer. I was hoping to steal the +12V to power the switch as well as the wire that would dim the switch with the interior dimmer circuit. Here's a pic of the connector on the back of the switch. Thanks

Found this thread with a useful wiring diagram. Going to try this out to get power to the switch, as well as have the back light dim with the rest of the instrument lights. Also worth noting that I tried to use the 10A fuse in the engine compartment, but the add-a-fuse force the cover to sit too high. Going to move the add-a-fuse to the fuse block inside near the driver side panel. Going to post a wiring diagram for reference later.

If you are using an OEM style switch in one of the blank spots, there is this adapter so you don’t have to deal with wiring the dimmer

Can you pull +12V from the wiper defrost as well? The daisy chain harness appears to only pull power for illumination (and dimming) of the switch.

Thanks for the reply. I suppose that I could pull power from the wiper defrost. I wound up using an add-a-fuse to power the lights. I did buy the daisy chain harness, but the connectors on the harness are not the same size as the connectors on the OEM switches, so they wouldn't work. YMMV. I'll try to post pics of the harness next to the OEM switch along with dimensions later today after I get home from work.
