Hi all. Looking for any info you care to share.
Want a Warn winch to use in my BudBuilt hidden mount on my 2012.
I am leaning towards the Zeon 10-S which seems to be out of stock most places currently. Not in a big hurry and wondering if they do anything special for say Black Friday that sticks in any ones memory that would make waiting of some value.
I know they have something on the VR series but I am not interested in making China any richer.
Guess I will need the relocation kit and wireless controller too?

there are so many good choices out there right now ranging from cheap to expensive.

i run a shittybilt x20 gen 2 and a buddy runs the gen 3.

Not saying to buy those, but the point is, there are a lot of good choices at whatever your price range is.

also i would definitely wait til black friday.

I went the Warn M8000 with synthetic rope route.

I installed the same combination in my 2013 TE...Warn Zeon 10-S and BudBuilt hidden mount. It was a tight fit and required relocating several components, but eventually worked. The winch control box must be relocated; I used the Maner Mount from Tandem Off-Road to simplify the relocation. I also had to relocate one of the horns; I mounted it and the winch controller plug on the same bracket. The wireless controller is optional, not required. The power steering cooling line has to be bent out of the way or rerouted. I opted to replace it with this power steering cooler kit from 4X4Labs; expensive, but made the install much cleaner. An AC line also had to be bent a little. I found the Warn synthetic line extremely difficult to attach to the drum and and there was insufficient room to hold the full 100 ft. I replaced it with Master Pull 7/16 Superline XD.

Just a place to keep in mind, I bought a WarnVR 8 for under 500 from Rack Up Go.

I got an open box one that was discounted heavy. When I got it, ya it was opened but everything was brand new. Works great and saved a lot
