FAQ - 4Runner LED turn signal lights

Hello everyone,
Lasfit here! We want to answer some questions about LED turn signal lights in this thread.
We have learned that some people have no idea how to choose LED turn signal bulbs for their 4Runner, and some have had problems installing Lasfit T series LED turn signal bulbs. We sorted these questions and will respond to them one by one, and I hope it will be helpful for you guys.

1. Question:
Why the load resistor/CANbus decoder is required if you use regular LED bulbs to replace turn signal lights?
Answer:
Most after-market LED bulbs are lower wattage than OEM halogen bulbs. The vehicle trip-computer inspection system checks the wattage is incorrect and causes an error code / hyper flash. It will pass through the trip-computer inspection system by connecting an external resistor / CANbus decoder.

2. Question:
How does the switchback LED turn signal light work?
Answer:
Switchback LED bulbs are designed for front turn signal lights with dual-filament bulbs. Generally, it will work as two functions, turn signal and daytime running light/parking light. The turn signal light will light up with amber color, and the daytime running/parking light will light with white color.

3. Question:
Lasfit T series LED turn signal bulbs have built-in resistors. Why do they still hyper flash on some vehicles?
Answer:
* Lasfit T series LED bulbs will work perfectly fine on most vehicles, especially on 4Runner, but for some vehicles, like Tundra /Tacoma, the OEM trip-computer system is complex, and our LED bulbs are not compatible with it at present
* Lasfit T series LED bulbs are designed with a temperature-control system, which keeps them working well in a proper temperature range. The LED bulbs will start to hyper flash when they overheat. It warns the driver it's time to stop the turn signal lights. But they will work again after cooling down for a couple of minutes. This function is to prolong the lifespan of the LED bulbs.
One of our customers said that it depends on the year, make, model, and environment temperature, which may cause overheating and the LED bulbs to hyper flash. Please turn them off and cool for 1-2 minutes. They will work properly again.

4. Question:
I've heard of excessive heat produced by Lasfit T series LED bulbs, anyone has experienced problems?
Answer:
Typically, the LED bulbs produce heat when running, and the OEM halogen bulbs also produce heat when they are working. Please don't touch it

5. Question:
CK or Standard socket for 4Runner?
Answer:
Standard socket
