I've had 4600's on for several years, no complaints, but I don't offroad. I replaced the xreas system with these and FJ springs and then added a 1" Daystar spacer to front to level it out, but going to remove that spacer and replace with a 1/2" spacer.
As has been mentioned the 5100's give you some height adjustability as opposed to using spacers. I like the ride, it firmer than the xreas, but I like the feel.
Check out "Tinkerer's Adventures" on youtube for some 4Runner front suspension analysis before you do anything. I did, and reason I'm removing the 1" and replacing with 1/2" spacer.
