2nd row seat

Would 2nd row seat from 3 row 4r fit into 2-row truck? Do they have the same bolt pattern?
Thank you!

I'm not even sure what the difference is between the two. Does the 2nd row from a 3 row fold differently?

I'm not sure what it would take to do the conversion. The 2nd row from a 3-row equipped 4runner is sliding versus the standard 2-row version. Would also like to hear feedback for others who have done it.

Something else to consider is that the standard 2-row 4Runners have different latching and tilt mechanisms than the 3-row counterpart.

Yes bottom doesn't flip and while folded it is higher, leveling with folded 3rd row. It also slides(which I don't really care about)

Also interested if anyone has played around with this idea. Might use it to trap my dogs in the middle. They don't like the back cargo area and I want the rear seats for humans.
