Seat Delete Water and Fridge Platform

Finished my water and fridge platform. The fridge is powered by a Jackery 240 that I charge via the T4R when running and a solar panel on my rooftop Pelican when stationary. The platform is made out of HDPE sheets and aluminum extrusions.

Wow! That is a pretty awesome setup. I had planned on writing up a short review of the Massimo fridge we used during our Western Rocky's road trip. I like your setup as it creates more space by deleting the seat we don't use anyway. Our set-up has issues lol.

Thanks! Yeah, the driver's side rear seat seemed like a great trade off for this. The top level of the platform is offset towards the door a couple of inches to give as much room as possible for the middle seat in case someone had to sit there. When not camping or traveling, I undo the two seat mount bolts and remove the platform to put the seat back in.

Did you get that fridge at Costco? I think I saw that brand on their website at some point and it seemed like a great buy, especially with Costco's return policy.

Home Depot actually. It did well keeping our water and sodas cold. Did not cost as much as the upper brands.

Thanks! I used a 90 degree elbow with 1/4 NPT female on one side and male on the other. Drilled a hole to fit the male end of the elbow and used a 1/4 NPT to 3/16" barb to sandwich the lid material and keep the elbow firmly attached. I then put a 1/4 NPT to quick disconnect on the female (outside of the lid) part of the elbow. All of the parts were purchased from McMaster Carr.
