There's an old saying (Texas I believe): "All hat, no cattle".

Looks Great and a V8

Looks like he's headed to the beach!

Pictures aren't always that great. You can definitely see the tires have some wear. Couple of corners on the tread blocks are missing, none of the new wear tits on the roadside of the tread blocks. The suspension does look new, the zip ties may be temporary till he finds a permanent mount, the packing foam keeps it from getting scratched till its permanently mounted. Not crazy about the hitch mounted tire but to each his own.

It still looks great, would be tempted to make an even trade....lol

Here's another way to look at it:

Guess who's helped the economy/offroad industry more?

Looks like a fresh build. Also, how many 4Runner owners you think actually use their truck's potential?

I get it, when I see all the Kings and Fox's on trucks that might go crawlin at 2mph here and there, and I have to wait 6mo for my build that I'm going to use to its max, I get frustrated too, but then I think of the bigger picture and at least appreciate that they are funding the industry to allow them to keep making these great products and hire people to do it.

Because California is full of fakers like this. I know because I was born and lived there for 58 years. As ours being dirty, we had just driven a 700 mile stretch in a day, with short off road treks to give the dog a break. We use our vehicle as designed, not to show off or be conspicuous. You being so sensitive, you must be guilty of being a faker too.

So having dirt on your vehicle makes you cool now.
Even if he/she doesn’t off road. Who cares. Are you mad that they can blow 1000’s of dollars on parts and drive it to the beach?
I have 20000 in a motor in my car that hasn’t seen drag strip in 5 years and street in 3. I guess I’m a douche bag

Both vehicles were 700 miles from CA. Not presumptuous at all. I was parked there first and discovered the Lexus next to ours when I went out for dinner. Real point is why buy a Lexus version then strip everything off to put on new suspension?

Who cares? There will always be someone out there that has a more modified vehicle that isn't being used to it's full potential. Do you take a picture of every raptor out there that isn't hitting the dunes? Did he come out and gloat that his gx is better than yours?

This is just toxic.

Why not by a Lexus version and strip everything off to put on new suspension?

Based on this logic, why modify any vehicle? This doesn't make sense, OP. You can still delete this thread.

Lmao this is such a ridiculous post.

No one here is being sensitive dude, but this screams of insecurity and weirdness. You’re in your late 50’s, it’s time to let go of the high school mentality and mind your own business. Life is a lot more fun that way.

This reminds me of my early 20’s in the autocross community. Some of my S2000 buddies would just unnecessarily hate on guys with Porsches/BMWs for no good reason other than they couldn’t afford them.

dont be hating on Cutthroat......i am sure there is no hostile intent on his opinion. We all make judgments on many things thru out the day for any number of things. Its human nature. Anyone that says otherwise is not being honest. Most of this type of thing is all in good fun. Just like people watching or whatever. The other day i was driving and we passed a convertible PT cruiser....I asked my girlfriend what kind of person would buy such an ugly car. Just entertaining banter. Its ok to make fun of people, just dont be mean to them lol. I always look at the tires on sport bikes to see if they have chicken strips. Why have a sport bike if you are not going to carve corners. people are too sensitive these days.

Those tires are brand new. You can still see the rubber nipples from the tire mold on the tread blocks. Very likely the suspension/tires were JUST INSTALLED at a shop near there.

Ok to make fun of people? Sure, perhaps. Ok to crawl under their vehicle to take detailed photos and post them to the internet, along with their license plate, to make fun of them? No.
