Dom's video's on youtube make it really easy to install. Word of advice, use a big ass breaker bar to make life easier.
noice dude. clamps are wicked easy as well. He said pre 2019 or something have to do some clearance on the kdss cylinder boot clamp, but mine fit under it just fine. tight enough to hold his clamp on the sway bar in place actually.

thanks for the advice, I just gave up because its way too hot right now. I be crispy, and fried right now. I got no shade or cover, so i'll wake up tomorrow early, and bang it out. I think i can probably do it in like 15 min, but the heat sucks the motivation out of me...lol.

Hey Dom, just ordered your control kit harness for KDSS and also the front sway bar billet clamps.

After watching your installation video of the sway bar clamps, you mention that you do not adjust the accumulator valves, or something, on the kdss system, you said instead you use the KDSS Control you installed previously.

My question is do you turn on the KDSS control and when you turn off the vehicle the KDSS is still disconnected? Just not sure to how you were using the KDSS control and what effect it has while you are trying to put upward pressure on the sway bar with the jack. Is this necessary?

Thanks Dom,looking forward to installing this setup.

yep. install harness. flip the switch so "kdss" light is on. system will be in open mode even when the key is off. floor jack under the piston side of sway bar to relieve pressure, zip off the bolts. install everything. I use a big clamp to pull the sway bar back to the LCA when re installing in conjunction with the floor jack under your nice new clamps.

and yes, pull the skid plate. aint enough room

I've been lazy.

Honestly, I've been SO happy with the KDSS plates in the front, and the KDSS spacers in the rears and the switch, that I haven't rushed myself into installing the sway bar thingies. I don't think they are all that necessary if u get all the other upgrades. The other 3 things are more of a "need" but the sway bar thingies is more of a "want" if u get my drift.

One day ill get around to installing it.

Dom these look great, but is there any issue with rust on the sway bars where you drill for the set screws? I know you're in the desert or somewhere really dry so it doesn't matter but us in the wet PNW need to worry about such things Thanks!

I really do believe the clamps are the most important part to have. Especially if the rubber straps have failed. The adapters correcting the bushing angle now allows those to fail easier allowing the sway bar to shift. I think it’s best to just get it on so you don’t experience the kdss shock contact on the frame.

Look at the sway bar. It’s a floating system. The bushing pressure on all 4 contacts on the front sway bar are holding the sway bar center. The clamps will prevent the sway bar from trying to slide through those bushing. Especially if really getting out there and using the vehicle!!

Yes it can rust. When you drill. You can drill deep. It’s really thick. Drill as deep as you need to allow the set screw to sit flush with the clamps.

I’d maybe paint or use some marine grease in the divot to prevent that. For fun I powder coated my front sway bar to match total Chaos goodies. Not sure if you guys know I’m pretty tied in with them. Like family.

So when I installed this per directions, the option to choose an empty fuse location left me with one which had no power when key is off and the rest their was power when the key was off. Used the one with no power when key is off.

So question is, is the kdss (if deactivated with switch) still in open mode when the key is turned off and no power going to the switch?

Thanks plan to run this to full time power in the future with a fuse block near the battery.

Thanks Jim
