Didn't fail just something I wanted to do and learn !! This truck has taken over my life...... I wish it was just the ac compressor though, gotta have the tensioner drop down as it is in the way of a bolt, and the power steering pump has to come off too, and the alternator!!! And 2 of 3 idler pulleys lol.... basically the front of the engine! Except the crankshaft pulley THANK GOD

For the water pump I just needed to drop the tensioner assembly enough for a bolt to clear the top of it, so I did not go about actually changing it...I have no knowledge in the a/c world haha completely not in my brain sorry

Thank you for all the replies haha this post could've certainly been taken the other way Kind of you all! I have since accepted what happened and rly this engine is amazing......As an aside did the valve covers a few months ago and the engine was CLEEEEEAAANNNNN.......perfect even....

This engine is also different from the older ones as it is dual VVTI which may affect the design. That also is why there is a difference in power.
