If you're going to return to the J150 platform I would get the GX460, no question about it.

Budget allowing, I’d go with an LX570. A Land Cruiser with less missing buttons.

Yup I average 20 with 32in tires and a lift.
Drive like a hypermiler though.

Do you even pulse and glide, and not use AC? My motion sickness could never.

haha...for sure and that is before mods. I averaged about 14 City with my modest mods and not a whole lot better with Highway mileage.

But it's all relative. Compared to my built up Tundra and Ram Rebel with bumpers, winches, 35s, toppers. etc., my 4Runner was "efficient"...lol.

I did consider it but just not a big fan of the styling even with mods.

Awesome machine, but like my response above, I just can't into the Lexus styling. I had my sights on a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser and all sorts of ideas for modding that, but I waited too long and now refuse to pay $70K-$100K+ (depending on mileage) for a used one.

Things have changed a lot on the pro trim 2020 and up. They finally are loading them with more of the features once only available on the limited trim. You can find them at msrp various places around the country. Only advice i can give is to be patient and wait for the trim and color you want. Reach out to a bunch of dealers and don’t be afraid to fly and drive back if the deal is right. Welcome back.

This is true

If you already joined the v8 club.. next stop is the LC200 or LX570..

I love my built 2015 4runner, but I've been itching to build our 2020 cruiser.. that 5.7 v8 will be missed

Thanks!

Oh yeah, I have purchased many a vehicle out of state with great success. Already found some dealers in CO selling at MSRP whereas here in NM no such luck. On the other end of the scale are some dealers in AZ not selling to anyone out of state at all.
