2017 TRD Sport V6 Double Cab LB 4WD Vs 2014 4Runner SR5 Premium - HELP!
I've had my '11 4Runner for a few years now and have loved every moment of it. Currently sitting at around 285,000 KM. Since I've owned it I've upgraded the suspension to 5100's all around and have a set of TRD Pro wheels with 255/80/17 Cooper S/T Maxx's. As much as I'd love to bring it across the 300,000 KM mark, I know that will have a significant impact on trying to sell it down the road.
Life has also changed and the need for hauling loads of lumber, dirt, garbage, etc has increase so I've been debating jumping into the Taco world. Being able to set up camp in the 4Runner has been pretty great, and the back window feature is a clutch for the dog. 7 seats is nice to have but rarely used (no kids, yet).
I recently came across a '14 SR5 with roughly 250,000 KM for $27K. One owner, in great shape with the exception of a few scratches and chips as expected, with minimal rust.
And more recently have come across a '17 TRD Sport V6 Double Cab LB 4WD with roughly 180,000 KM for $30K. One owner, in great shape with the exception of a few scratches and chips as expected, with minimal rust. Also, does anyone know if the 255/80's will fit the stock suspension (I've scoured through the forum and seen conflicting arguments)?
Curious if anyone has made the leap from a 4Runner to a Taco or vis versa and can share their thoughts?
I appreciate your help in advance!!
