i went with the standard grunt and a half.

hmmm depends on the impact. i think my grunt and a half is a solid 4 ugga duggas on my harbor freight impact.

Hopefully 75 on the 2 additional bolts is enough though. i did order the bolt paint as well so i can make sure I keep track of it.
@dom42 can you provide any info on what we shoudl torque the bolts to specifically? I know in this thread you mentioned it being stronger than weld on-as long as it is torqued properly.

i think on ig he mentioned something about 96 and 70-80.. i tightened till i noticed the bracket flex a touch.

i'm not sure how much of a difference the bracket made. but it does seem smoother over speed bumps. like its more fluid feeling, almost like i'm back on the plush wheelers rear springs instead of the toytec HD springs.

could be placebo, idk. the panhard is definitly at a better angle and cant argue with the geomtry aspect of it so

everyone should bug him about getting to his unrelated project regarding an integrated chase light in the spoiler.....

I’d go really tight lol. 90-95lbs. On all bolts.

The welded nuts are self locking. But I mean if still put some paint marks and what not. Trust me I beat this thing down. As long you have it tight you are all good.

I got a email from Dom at Drkdss.com he said 95 ftlbs for all bolts, & use blue loctite or similar on the main factory bolt and the main nut for the pan hard bar bolt.

I torqued the OEM bolt and new panhard bar bolt to 96 ft-lbs, and the other 2 bolts to 90 ft-lbs. marked it with pink marker paint to monitor movement.

So far as simple of a mod it is, I do not feel any squirreliness in the rear, and the rear seems to cycle a lot smoother over large bumps.

This is the easiest part I have yet to install on my 4th gen 4runner. Everything fit absolutely perfectly. Only thing that makes me sad is that it didnt come with a DRKDSS decal to add to my roof rack.

P.S. the updated install video has torque specs. I think its was 125 everywhere.

Send me an email. I’ll get you stickers. That’s weird that it didn’t come with it.
