Accelerator feedback when turning

I get accelerator vibration or pulsing (not sure exactly how to describe it) when I’m turning right at low speeds. It’s pretty consistent every time I turn. Not sure if this is a steering rack issue or not. Anyone have similar issues or any advice? Bringing it in Tuesday for Toyota to look at it but I’m not hopeful they will know what they are doing. ‘21 TRD Off Road btw. Thanks in advance.

Your steering wheel is pulsing, vibrating? Or are you actually feeling it through the accelerator pedal? Not sure what your describing.

Can you set the cruise control and put your foot on the floor board and still feel the vibration/pulsing?

There's nothing in the accelerator pedal that would give any feedback in any significant way. So likely you're feeling something through the floorboard if it's not in the brake pedal.

Are you in 4Hi by any chance when you're doing this? I suspect your vehicle is stock?

I will give this a shot and see what happens.

Also can confirm not in 4HI and am bone stock. The amount of people I've read that have feedback issues because they are driving in 4Hi like its AWD is concerning haha.

Ok, update. Tried a few different things to see when I am getting the feedback. I can't quite feel it at higher speeds. I am not feeling it in the brake pedal or on the floorboard either, only the accelerator pedal at low speeds. Like I said before, it is fairly consistent as well. Does not seem like a random anomaly.

Any further advice or ideas would be great. I would like to give the service guys some idea of what to look at rather than some general problem that they have to try and find.

maybe the accelerator pedal is not bolted tight to the body.

There is no linkage, it's just two offset sensors with a spring to return the pedal back to "normal" position when not depressed. There are no actuators, linkage, and/or any way for it to provide any sort of "feedback" besides the physical spring in the unit.

Could this be Zero Point Calibration with VSC killing the acceleration? But that would make a dash light and not a accelerator pedal feedback

Oddly I get a small amount of this to. On a 2016 limited, with kings. Only get the vibration flutter on the pedal when driving on my Cooper STT Pros, the BFG K02 or Snow tires dont do it. Its minor and only at say parking lot speeds. Otherwise everything else seems fine.

So is it that your foot is bouncing and you feel the pedal springing back or are you saying you're feeling a tire vibration only through the pedal?

The only thing that could give you any "feedback" would be the spring in the pedal itself, does it move smoothly if you use your hand? Maybe they have a sticky spot?

Otherwise you're feeling a vibration through the body and attributing it to the pedal.
