Rock sliders for trd sport?

Hello. Are there any rock sliders made for the TRD sport (with reax) that don’t have to be modified?

Really just to use as steps. Wanted to get some nfabs but we’re already expensive. Night as well spend some more and get sliders.

I think Metal Tech 4x4 is the only one that makes sliders compatible with the Sport/Limited rocker panels. No idea about the compatibility with x-reas. Any others would require replacing the rockers.

Are you actually doing any kind of off-roading where you might actually need sliders? If so, do you plan on replacing the rocker panels to fit any of the other slider options?

Actually, not really planning on doing any off-roading. Just wanted side steps. Anything decent is upwards of $500, so I figured I may as well spend the extra on sliders.

The Sport compatible ones from Metaltech are quite a bit more expensive.

The big issue is that the Sport rocker panels are quite bulky and obtrusive and eats into usable space to place your feet. The most functional kind of steps would be the nfabs with the hoops.

Also sliders are heavy and you’ll feel that weight when you drive it. Just seems like a lot of compromises when you’ll likely never use it.

Thank you. I will look more into the Nfabs.

I remember when I looked briefly at them before, there were so many options (2" vs 3", etc). And it didn't specify which would work best with the Sport with the XREAS.

You don't happen to know, do you?

Nfabs bolt to the body, not the frame, so no issues whatsoever regarding clearance over xreas lines. Just need to make sure you buy the ones for the Limited or Sport so they fit over the rocker panel.
