Time for a Battery Toyota TrueStart any good?

So I currently have an interstate battery going on 5 years, I've heard the Toyota TrueStarts are also made by the same folks that make interstate batteries. Does anyone have experience with these batteries? any insight would help me make a decision, I live in Texas and daily my 4R

I only use True Starts. Have been very good IMO, last 5 years+. Never had one fail prematurely. Have '03 4Runner, '07 Highlander, had "07 Matrix.

Not in a 4R, but my wife's Camry has had one of those for almost 5 years, it's been fine FWIW.

I have used them in my T4Rs over the years and never had a problem.

Good timing of this topic. My Interstate battery is also 5 years old and I'm contemplating preemptively replacing it at the onset of winter as I do a lot of driving and park outside in colder temps. I had not considered the TrueStart batteries as they only had one option in the 24F OEM group size (5th gen) with a lower CCA rating (575) compared to what you could get with other aftermarket options. However, there appears to be a newer 24F EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) with a higher 750 CCA rating (Toyota part number 00544-24FEF-TS). Any thoughts or concerns with this newer TrueStart 24F EFB battery as compared to the standard flooded TrueStart 24F or other aftermarket AGMs?

I just checked my New Toyota True start Battery voltage without the car running and its showing 12.3, Shouldn't a new battery be reading around 12.6? I'm worried that's a bit to low, Should I return the battery to the dealership or am I being paranoid

Ok I'm at the dealership and the associate was trying to tell me 12.0 when the battery is off is normal, I told him it should be at 12.6 when the battery is off. He's having them test it said it will be around a 2 hour test and if it's reading bad they'll replace it. I litterly bought this a few days ago... anyway. Well see what happens.. I marked the battery with a pen so I can tell if they replace it or not if it comes to that..
