Windshield side trim molding

Does anyone know if the side trim that goes between the windshield and the A frame area is removable? Or is this piece installed when the windshield gets installed? As in before it gets installed.

I think you could yank it off if you wanted to but it's not meant to be removable. Pretty sure you'd have to have the windshield re-set to reinstall the molding.

the pieces that run up and down on the outside of the car? It comes off and goes back in place just fine. i've had mine out a few times. One side i have 2 small wires running behind it, cant even tell. driver side i have the antennae wire running behind it. That one you can tell has something behind it lol.

Yes the 2 small pieces on the left and right of the windshield. I was going to pull the driver side off but I wasn’t sure if it was made to come off that way or not with the windshield in place.

yea they peel off. take it easy, itll tear. I hadnt thought of this before, but some silicon spray will make reinstall super easy, especially if youre stuffing a wire behind it.

Is this the piece you guys are talking about? I had to have my windshield replaced this past spring and they did a good job, but now this trim piece keeps popping out at the top corner of the windshield. I push it back in but it keeps working its way back out. Could I pull it out and put some silicone seal behind it and re seat it or should I just have the windshield company come out and replace it? I have a lifetime warranty on the work.

yea i'd pop that corner out, use some black rtv and a piece of tape to hold it in place over night. its just a cover so the windshield channel/butyl is covered up and not visible.
