Long Island, NY dealer recommendation for fuel pump

I've got a 2019 ORP, 60k miles. If it sits for a couple days it will do a start then a quick stall; second try always works and it's good to go until it sits for a couple of days again.

So I'm thinking it may be the fuel pump and may as well do the recall replacement and looking for recommendations (or negatives) regarding dealers in western Suffolk/ eastern Nassau (Long Island, NY). I purchased the truck used from a Lincoln dealer back in 2020 after the local Toyo dealers kept offering me really crappy deals on lightly used Runners so I have no good feelings about any dealers in my area.

Thanks in advance!

Not Long Island, but I got mine done here in Northern New Jersey at Morristown Toyota with no issues. I got mine done a year ago and they told me they had done a thousand of them already. I wouldn't be that nervous about taking it to either of the ones out there as it's been a recall out for a long long time.

Now, if they screw it up don't blame me...

Just a thought, but disconnecting the battery will do a start/quick stall. Have you checked your battery health? Could be dipping below a certain V or Amp and triggering that failsafe as if it was disconnected. Then the alternator charges it up until it dips below that threshold again.

Surely it _could_ be a battery thing but it cranks very nicely. And I'm talking about two days of sitting not a long time. I'll put a meter on it in the morning and then again if it gets to sit for a day or two (but that's not happening real soon, got a few jobs lined up over the next couple of days).

Seems to me that there may be a check valve somewhere that's leaking down but this so far has been the newest and lowest maintenance vehicle I've ever owned and I have yet to really get down and dirty with any sort of troubleshooting on it. Easy to just get the pump replaced and eliminate it.

Clean the throttle body see if that helps.
