So the search was on. Nothing current and couldn't download anything from Torque site said it wasn't compatible with my newer version android. I did find a few that were different from the 08 PID.
Found:
Transmission Temp Pan 2182 ((((A * 256) + B ) * (7/100)-400)/10)
Transmission Converter Temp 2182 ((((C * 256) + D ) * (7/100)-400)/10)
Wouldn't work on the 2023 but a few small changes.
Transmission Temp Pan 2182 (A * 256) + B ) * (7/100)-400)/10
Transmission Convrt. Temp 2182 (C * 256) + D ) * (7/100)-400)/10
Worked, Road tested and confirmed operation. Used my non contact thermometer to compare torque reading to the pan and it was within a few tenths.
As you can see not much difference between the two PID's but enough for one to work verses the other. Hope this helps someone.

This is odd. The version that you found to work isn’t even mathematically correct. It has 2 open and 4 closing parentheses. The version you found to not work at least has 5 opening and 5 closing parentheses. Try putting the “working” second version in a a calculator and it won’t be able to compute. The first version that doesn’t work will at least be able to compute a value.
Since the version that does work isn’t mathematically correct I can’t even determine what Order of Operations the correct equation would be to then compare if the first version is numerically correct .
